DIY Necklace Organizer!

Yeahhhh!!!!  I received the Jewelry Organizer I asked for, as an early Birthday present!  So I wanted to share it with you.  You can either hang it on the back of any door, or it comes with the brackets to adhere it to a wall.  It is from Brylane Home, and was on sale for $59.95.
Jewelry Organizer

Ring Holder at the top that holds about 50 rings

2 rows to hold 75+ bracelets & watches
Below that is a tray with individual dividers that I use for my cuff bracelets

Earring Holder that holds 75 pairs of earrings

Space on the sides also

Necklace Holder that holds 100+ necklaces

This is the DIY necklace holder I made, but I had
so many necklaces I chose to keep one necklace on each hook, so it
it would not overcrowd the organizer

If you would like to know how I made this necklace/bracelet holder above,
just e-mail me, but it's pretty easy to tell from the pictures :)

Green with Envy!

I've never ever worn Green nail polish, but I fell in love with this color when I saw it, and thought it would be perfect for Fall.  The brand is from Avon, of course, and the color is Olive Green.  I like everything about the way this came out, but Avon is still not my favorite polish.  I do recommend this polish and color though.  Here is how it came out:

My nails only have 1 coat of polish

My toes have 2 coats on them

Another Nail Polish Review!

Yes, I tried yet another new nail polish over the weekend!  I used this one on my toes.  It's by Mark and it's called Fuschia-istic.  I love the color and everything, but I was a little disappointed over the small size of the bottle.  I mean it came as a duo, two different colors for about $4.50, but it's the smallest nail polish I've ever seen in my life!  Anyway, love the hot pink color!  I also put Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Base & Top Coat over it.  This makes any polish very shiny and I've used it for years, so highly recommended!

Hope you enjoyed another polish review!

Nail Polish Review: Rimmel

I tried another nail polish this weekend.  It's called English Rose by Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro.  I also tried a new Topcoat by Essie called No Chips Ahead, because I have alot of problems with my polish chipping.  It works pretty good considering I use my hands alot.  I loved the color, very simple and classic and of course the flat brush I'm in love with in any polish!  Here is what it looks like:

I highly recommend any of the Rimmel Nail Polishes and also the Essie No Chips Ahead topcoat!

Nail Polish Review: Essie

Okay, I finally broke down and bought some Essie nail polish, but I could only get one.  It's called Turquoise & Caicos.  Here is what it looks like:

I love all of Essie's colors, a little pricey for me, but every once in awhile right?  This color is very similar to one I did awhile back by Sinful Colors, which was awful by the way, but like I said you do get what you pay for.  So this one was worth it!  Have a great Tuesday!

Book Review: What I Wore

I received Jessica Quirk's book a few weeks ago and wanted to tell you what I think.  Jessica has lived such a wonderful life in the Fashion Industry at such a young age, I really admire her.  She is the reason I started my blog, so I have been reading her Blog "What I Wore" for a few months now and I look forward to it every day.

I love the way the book is organized by seasons, plus building a fully functional wardrobe a little at a time.  She starts with the basics by having you pick a core color, then adds in secondary pieces that will go with the colors of the basics.  That is why clothes with prints are so important to have in your wardrobe, which I actually had none....Eeeek!  Now I know why it is important :)  This book teaches you how to build a wardrobe so that all your clothes can be mixed and matched to make new outfits....Re-mixing in a way.  That way, you'll have no excuse to say "I have nothing to wear"!

It has the best color illustrations drawn by Jessica herself, so talented!  I am going to start cleaning out my closet and building my wardrobe by the book, her book :-)  Can't wait to get started!  I have to give this book a thumbs up and you should definitely get it.  Have a great weekend!

BDIB: Arm Party!

Normally I wear a bunch of gold bangles or one large bangle with a few thinner bracelets, but today for the BDIB Arm Party Challenge, I thought I would do bracelets that represent something or mean something to me.  So here they are:

Here are the bracelets left to right:

1.  This blue & silver charm bracelet represents Empowerment of Women by Avon
2.  This thin stretchy bracelet with the symbol of Infinity on it represents stopping Domestic Violence, also by Avon.
3.  This blue stretchy bracelet also represents stopping Domestic Violence, by Avon.
4.  The next one is a Purple stretchy bracelet that says "Fibromyalgia ....It's Real" which represents the pain condition Fibromyalgia, which I have had now for about 6 years and still no cure.
5.  The next one is a purple, black and silver bracelet and it is a magnetic pain bracelet
6.  Finally this Pearl Watch is the first watch I have ever purchased for myself and of course also by Avon.

Hope you like!
