On A Trip!

I thought I would ease into posting slowly, with a simple nail polish review.  If I had the time, I would change my nail polish daily!  I'm so addicted to all the new colors out there!  But since I don't, I change my polish weekly.  I thought I would try a nail polish from my Junior High School days (I know I'm aging myself).  Wet 'N Wild was like a starter brand for 13 year olds back then and one of the few brands we could afford!  They have changed of course since then, so I saw this color and thought I would try it.  The bottle says it has the new Manicurve Pro Brush, which means the new flat brush we've been seeing out there in a lot of polishes.  The polish is called Wet 'N Wild Megablast and the color is called "On a Trip".

It went on beautifully although a little thin, so you might need 2 coats.  I like the sheer color look so I did one coat.  I love these new brushes because they cover a bigger area and only take 3 swipes per nail.

Unfortunately, 2 days later this is what my nails looked like.  The were chipped on the tips and on one nail, the polish was almost half gone.  Maybe I should have used 2 coats.  I purchased another color in this brand, so I will try 2 coats next time and let you know how it works out.  The color itself is beautiful!

I just went into my room to grab my camera and my dog Zena is still sleeping!  Lazy dog....

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Happy 2 Year Blogoversary!

Yes, it has already been 2 years since I started this blog and I know the last time I posted was May of 2012!  So technically it's really only a year old...:)  But I'm feeling a little better and getting my health back in check, so I'm going to start blogging again.  I hope those of you who were reading my blog will start doing so again and those of you that are new.... please subscribe.  I'd love to get to know you!

Now You Sea Me!

Yes, you did read the title correctly and I can spell :)
I have to say, so far this is my favorite nail polish for Spring.  It is by Loreal and it's called "Now You Sea Me".  It's a beautiful turquoise blue...just beautiful!  I'm also becoming a big fan of Loreal Nail Polishes.

Have a great weekend!

Jason Wu 2

I went to Target a few weeks ago for a few things, and when I walked in, I saw there were a few items from Jason Wu left.  Not only that, they were on clearance for 30% off!  I found a beautiful scarf, which someone had to have returned because it was not there when I got my handbag.  I also bought another pleated skirt, but this is the one in navy with white flowers.  They also had a Navy trench coat left, in my size, but I decided on just the two.  So, I think I'm finally done buying Jason Wu for Target :)

Goodwill Goodies!

Yesterday I went to the Goodwill to try to find a few new items to add to my closet.  It wasn't a great thrift day where you hit the jackpot but I found a few things.  You probably already know this, but Goodwill is kind of an overflow so to speak, for Target.  Which means when Target's clearance items have been on the floor too long they donate them to Goodwill, which means Target goodies for me at great prices :)

Every time I go to Target I look at the Handbags & Belts first, then the clothes.  They have the cutest belts and I've seen so many that I want, but I am not willing to pay $12.99 - $16.99 for one belt!  So I was looking through the belts at Goodwill and I found a bunch of brand new belts from Target, with the tags still on them for $2.99 a piece!  A few of these belts, such as the double black belt, are ones that are still at Target for $12.99!

Anyway, here is what I got at the Goodwill:
New Black Double Belt (Retail: $16.99)

New Target Black Patent Belt (Retail: $12.99)

New Target Green Suede Belt (Retail: $12.99)
New Target Red Belt (Retail: $12.99)
Old Navy Jeans Belt

New Target Tan Leather Belt (Retail: $12.99)

So, I paid $14.95 for 5 brand new Target belts and retail would have been $68.95 for all 5!  I think that was a pretty good deal!

Then I found a wristlet in Spring colors, by Poppie Jones for $4.99:

Last but not least I found a Coral colored blazer from H & M, for $3.99!

This blazer was not only a great Spring color and my size, bu being from H & M is a big deal to me because we don't have an H &M here.  I see all these awesome things that other bloggers got from H & M at great prices and I wish we had one here.  Or at least be able to buy online.  Maybe some day.

Have a great Wednesday!

First Shoedazzle Purchase

So this is my first purchase from Shoedazzle and I was so excited when they arrived!

This is what the inside looked like when I opened it.

The shoes came in a pretty hot pink box, wrapped in tissue paper.

They were closing down the Boot Department for the Winter Season, so I decided to purchase the one type of boots I actually don't have, Cowboy Boots!  I chose the color Cognac and it's a beautiful color

I love them!  The color is beautiful and they are so soft!  They are also very comfortable to boot (get it? Ha!).

I can wear them with skinny jeans, tights with a skirt or a dress.  They also sent me a Welcome Gift consisting of a Shoedazzle nail file & a beautiful Shoedazzle nail polish called Dazzle Me Pink..

I will do a post of the nail polish as soon as my nails grow back!  All my nails were all the same length and then the other day out of nowhere, they just started splitting & breaking off!  I know, I'm probably the only girl left that has her real nails still :)

Happy Thursday! xo
